Born in Liverpool a town I love so well and came from an Irish background and I am proud of them both.
Trained as a Joiner/Carpenter and in time taught the craft at the Anglican Training Centre and the University Settlement Liverpool.

Took up night school and many Educational courses to give me extra skills.

Sport Boxing, Rugby and Football in that order, but not Professional Boxing. The Kirkdale Youth Centre was a great place, were I spent much of my youth.

My Hobbies are Choral Singing and History and I sing for the Crosby Caledonian (Scots) Choir.

At present I am engaged in finishing a collection of poems for publication in the near future. I also have a collection of short stories about Merseyside based on the Liverpool area some with an Irish flavour.
These have been transposed onto Audio Cassettes by the Preston Blind Welfare Society. Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
Also I have just finished a memoir of Kitty Wilkinson, called 'The Life and Times of Kitty Wilkinson' to be published by Countyvise in the Autumn.

I would welcome comments or any communication on this subject.
